Hatten Bar provides students with an authentic bar experience, combining high-quality service and products with student-friendly prices. As the main social hub of the dorm, it hosts a wide range of events including comedy nights, themed parties, Halloween, Christmas celebrations, and Summerfest.
The bar operates every Friday and Saturday from 21:00 to 04:00, and can be rented for private events between 17:00 and 21:00 for just 500kr. Events are meticulously planned, with special drinks, themed decorations, and a vibrant atmosphere, all in a safe space managed by a professional security firm.
With a capacity for 120 people, Hatten Bar boasts a dance floor, disco lights, professional bartenders serving cocktails, beers, and seasonal drinks, as well as a covered and heated terrace. While partially funded by KF for part of the staff salaries and security, the bar reinvests its own profits into events, stock, renovations, and hiring DJs and comedians.
Hatten Bar plays a central role in dorm life, offering a space for residents to unwind and socialize every week. Residents with experience in the service industry can get involved by working as bartenders or shift managers, or by volunteering when needed.
